Hello and thanks for stopping by, I’m Galia, an illustrator and a designer from Tel Aviv, Israel 

Ever since I can remember I had to express feelings, thoughts and ideas through the creation of visual images. As a child all I wanted to do was draw and spend as much time as possible creating my own imaginary worlds - This is actually true until today :)

At the age of twenty, I moved to NYC to study fine art Printmaking at the Art Students League of NY. I then traveled to New Mexico to study traditional Lithography and after a decade away from home, returned to Israel and completed a degree in Graphic design..

As a graphic designer I worked with a wide range of costumers,  first as a full time employee and then as freelancer.

Since 2018 I focus on illustration and love every second of it. In my work I combine traditional collage, using handmade & ready made papers, with digital techniques. I’m inspired by anything vintage - printmaking, graphic design and fabrics as well as great 20th century masters. I enjoy a playful working process that allows happy accidents to happen and love to be surprised by an unexpected outcome.

When not working at my home studio, i can be found running around with my kids at the playground, or reading them books with my favorite illustrations
